Step 1: Stop Shipping Sinking Ships

Let’s face it. The pace of change in the world right now is so blindingly fast … It’s very likely you’re in an industry that doesn’t have much life left in it.

Think … 20 short years ago, BlockBuster was one of the largest and most successful companies in the world.

Today? It’s in the dustbin of defunct demigods.

Out of business. Closed for good.

Why?

It’s obsolete.

Most businesses today are going to be obsolete in not 20 years … they will be obsolete in 5 to 10 years.

And since the pace of technological change is increasing so rapidly, the rate at which business models will be rendered obsolete will increase as well.

Let that sink in.

Why pay the overhead for an office when you can employee remote workers for a fraction of the same overall cost?

You should be focusing on building what I call “The 3 Essential Hedges“.

Think of it like this …

If you don’t have all three, it’s like having a car with a broken wheel.
That’s it.

Option 1: Give in to the fear and desperation being peddled by the talking heads on the idiot-box.

I see all too many people on social media taking this path. It’s sad and pathetic.
